Fashion With a Cause Charity Shopping Event
The event will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CMC.
California Market Center (CMC) is partnering with prominent non-profit organization Red Eye to host the 3rd installment of its new Charity Shopping Event series, "Fashion With A Cause", scheduled for Friday, June 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Fashion With A Cause event will feature a curated array of Contemporary apparel, accessories and lifestyle products for women, men, children, and home, in addition to food vendors and family-friendly activities, with event admission fees and 5% of vendor sales being donated to the Red Eye organization.
Taking place to coincide with the LA Fashion District's traditional Sample Sale Friday, visitors can expect a juried marketplace filled with choice brands. Previous vendors have included For Love & Lemons, Fidelity Jeans, Kitsch, Vanessa Mooney, Spiritual Gangster, Crap Eyewear, DL1961 Denim, The Giving Keys, The Beach People, Eberjey, Poprageous, and many more.
The CMC first launched its Fashion With A Cause shopping event as a means to integrate community-building and social-consciousness into its public fashion events, teaming up to benefit the Wags and Walks dog rescue organization for its first two events held in 2016. This summer, the CMC is proud to partner with Red Eye, whose volunteers are dedicated to empowering local youth and communities in need through mentorship and various programs.
"Red Eye is excited to partner with the CMC for their Fashion With A Cause event," said Justin Mayo, Founder of Red Eye. "It is an awesome way for our non-profit to engage with culture creators, influencers and leaders within the fashion industry and Downtown Los Angeles community who might not yet be involved with Red Eye. This event will empower creatives with the opportunity to make a local impact through mentorship of kids in the housing projects and helps to meet the needs of those living on the streets of Skid Row. TOGETHER, we are creating a better tomorrow, TODAY."
Sponsors for this kid-friendly event already include Jelly Belly, BAI, Califia Farms, and OH! Snap Studios, who will provide event-goers with complimentary treats, refreshments and photo booth portraits, along with additional food and drink vendors, plus fun activities for kids to enjoy at the event.
"The CMC is honored to be working with an important community organization like Red Eye," said Rebecca Dennis, Event Manager. "Based on the successful outpouring of support shown by our shoppers and the fashion industry community at our previous Fashion With A Cause events, we're excited to rally the fashion community to pay it forward once again and help support programs that benefit our local youth in need."

Nordstrom Rack Bridgewater, New Jersey
Nordstrom, Inc. announced today plans to open Nordstrom Rack at Chimney Rock Crossing in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The approximately 36,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in 2018. The property is owned by Regency Centers.
When the new store opens, it will be the eighth Rack in New Jersey. The company also operates five full line locations at The Mall at Short Hills, Garden State Plaza, Freehold Raceway Mall, Menlo Park and Cherry Hill.
Nordstrom Rack will join Saks Off Fifth, Whole Foods, Container Store and more. Chimney Rock Crossing is conveniently located just off of Route 22.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., offering customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of 30 to 70 percent off regular prices. The Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, as well as specially purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom. Love & Hip Hop Ariane Davis Hosts Fashion Lounge ATL
On Thursday November 17, 2016 Xposure Image Group PRESENTED Fashion Lounge ATL Hosted by Love & Hip Hop's ATL Ariane Davis took place at The Haven ATL. The Comedienne, Funny Pretty Chic Kiana Dancie opened the show with a hilarious comedic set that warmed up the crowd. DJ Toni K provided the music soundtrack for the atmosphere which set the essence of the Fashion Lounge.
Designer Klashaa's Closet opened the show with her fabulous designs. The models were a great accessory and brought her collection to life as they ripped the runway.
Next up was a performance by the Pharaoh of R&B Pearis J who serenaded the crowd with his hot single 'Down For Me.' The ladies adored him and wanted more, not only is his voice special but his talent is undeniable.
Following Linda's showcase, the models and audience participated in the Fashion Lounge #MannequinChallenge.
To end the show there was a performance by Hip Hop artist International Nova who got the crowd moving with his hot single, 'I Can Tell.'
Nuvo Liqueur and Nuvo Models served the audience with a chilled Fashion Lounge specialty drink that flowed through the crowd all night. After the show, Ariane poured everyone in the audience a glass of Nuvo and we toasted to a successful event.
Love & Hip Hop ATL cast members MiMi Faust, Karlie Redd, Tammy Rivera, Tommie and Jessica Dime attended to support Ariane and the Fashion Lounge. Ariane & MiMi hit the stage to strut their stuff. The energy in the building was palpably through the roof. Fashion Lounge ATL was filmed LIVE for LHHATL's upcoming season.
