Nordstrom Rack Toronto
Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. announced plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at One Bloor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The 38,600-square-foot store is scheduled to open in 2018.
The store will be located in Yorkville on the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Bloor Street, a well-known shopping district in Toronto. The new Rack will join Bloor Street retailers that include Holt Renfrew, Prada, Gap, Michael Kors, H&M, and Zara. The store will be approximately one mile north of the Nordstrom full-line store scheduled to open September 16, 2016 at CF Eaton Centre.
Nordstrom first announced plans to expand to Canada in 2012 and to date has opened three full-line stores in Calgary at CF Chinook Centre on September 19, 2014; CF Rideau Centre in Ottawa on March 6, 2015 and CF Pacific Centre in Vancouver on September 18, 2015. The company will open three additional full-line stores in the Toronto area including CF Eaton Centre on September 16, 2016, Yorkdale Shopping Centre on October 21, 2016 and CF Sherway Gardens, fall 2017.
For those of you that may live in Toronto but are not familiar with Nordstrom Rack, here is a bit of info that may be of interest. Nordstrom Rack first started in the basement of the company's Seattle store over 40 years ago and is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc. The Rack offers customers a wide selection of on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at an everyday savings of 30-70 percent off regular prices. Merchandise comes from Nordstrom stores and specially purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom. The Rack is designed to provide the ultimate treasure hunt to style-savvy customers.

New Graphics Solutions Targeting Screen Printers
Epson recently announced two new graphics solutions targeting screen printers, the 17-inch SureColor® P800 Screen Print Edition and the 24-inch SureColor T3270 Screen Print Edition. Building on award-winning technology featured in the current Epson SureColor P800 desktop photo printer and SureColor T3270 large-format color printer, the new screen print editions come bundled with AccuRIP Black Pearl SE™ software and Epson Screen Positive Film to produce high-quality film positives used to burn screens for the traditional screen printing process. Men's Wearhouse Licnesed Tuxedo Rental Shops
Macy's, Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement with Men's
Wearhouse to open licensed tuxedo rental shops within 300 Macy's stores
nationwide.
These Macy's-branded shops will be operated by Men's Wearhouse and staffed by its trained formalwear professionals in dedicated space located in or near the men's department in Macy's stores. They will be fully integrated in Macy's storewide wedding experience, and support Millennial merchandising strategies related to proms and other special occasions.
"Macy's is better able than any other retailer to assist customers with a broad range of needs related to special occasions, and especially wedding couples, their families and friends at this significant milestone period in life. Macy's and Men's Wearhouse will work together to provide additional convenience and simplicity for our customers while offering the latest trends in rental tuxedos, including prestige designer brands and some styles exclusive to Macy's. The customer shopping experience will be enhanced by Men's Wearhouse's specialized and expert service," saidTim Baxter , Macy's chief
merchandising officer. "We see weddings and special occasions as strategic
growth opportunities for Macy's. We are already well known for our wedding and

Macy's Tuxedo Shops will be backed by the Men's Wearhouse reservation and group management system that allows customers to easily make and manage reservations and track the status of rentals by others in a wedding party.
Men's Wearhouse will be the exclusive provider of tuxedo rentals to Macy's, although Macy's will continue to sell tuxedos from its own men's assortment.
