Levi's made of garbage, but not in a bad way.

Global bottled water consumption is over 29 liters per person, per year.  Unfortunately, many of these bottles are not recycled.  Garbage is piling up.  These disposable bottles are not going to disappear on their own.  That is just one reason why Levi's were inspired to develop a new innovative use for the post consumer waste, like using recycled PET plastic bottles to create the Levi's Waste<Less jeans collection.

Raine Magazine celebrated the release of their newest issue – Volume 14, The International Issue last Thursday, January 31^st, 2013, in New York City at the Pierre Hotel’s Two E Bar/Lounge from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Stars from the worlds of fashion, entertainment, and culture were all in attendance. America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez arrived in celebration of her feature in Raine Magazine’s International Issue. Fashion designer and Real Housewives of New York star Malan Breton made an appearance. Actress Sarah Meghan Thomas from Backwards (2012) was also in attendance. Singer and actress Conseulo Vanderbilt Costin, America’s Next Top Model alumna Sara Racey-Trabizi, and Mrs. Kentucky 2012 Kathy Polston-Dalton all attended to help Raine Magazine celebrate the new issue.

Raine Magazine’s International Issue release party featured a giveaway by House of Horology Watches. Congratulations to Twitter and Instagram follower, Tricia Layne, who won the Bedlam Dark Red watch by posting the most social media messages throughout the evening through the next morning.

The evening included specialty cocktails featuring Brugal Rum & Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut. The bar was brought to the party by online cocktail culture magazine, CitySip.com and bar consultant Jane Elkins.

DJ E-Stylez played the top hits while the fashionable crowd mingled and celebrated Raine’s success. Guests received gift bags courtesy of Epice International Inc., whose motto is: It’s all about healthy skin.” The Pierre Hotel’s Two E Bar/Lounge served as the perfect reception space for this exclusive event.
